LIFE TOOLS TRAINING-  LEADERSHIP THROUGH SMALL GROUPS by

YARO STARAK, B.A. B.S.W. ADV.DIP.SW, GT.

When it comes to change human behavior, learning and change are synonymous. Without change there cannot be learning and learning to change is much more effective by knowing how to lead and work with groups. Yaro was lecturing at the University of Queensland, Dept. of Social Work since 1979 where he developed an experiential approach to group work. Non-experiential learning teaches you about the world, but you only can understand it through experiences with others. This book was developed over many years and proven to be of great value to both students and practitioners. It is now available both in print and on line in PDF format. The author is convinced that in order to obtain maximum benefit from this book, one must try it in a small group session, and this will serve as a resource for providing leadership experience, personal sharing, support and feedback from others.
